Honor loved ones

KCC's Office of Student Life and Center for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion have partnered to celebrate and educate about Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) with a community alter (ofrenda) that is used honor deceased loved ones.

The ofrenda has been set up in the KCC College Center. Members of the college community are invited to bring a picture of a deceased loved one to put on the ofrenda.

The pictures should only be of the deceased, and it is preferred to be in a standing frame. Photos can be brought to the Center for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion on/before Nov. 1.

Day of the Dead is Nov 2.

Photographs can be picked up at the Center for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion after Nov. 3.
