Fall Tree Walk at KCC

A Fall Tree Walk will be Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Kankakee Community College.
The event will be lead by Chris Evans, a forester for the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences of the University of Illinois.
Evans will conduct a morning discussion about tree selection and maintenance. In the afternoon, he and Holly Froning, a master gardener coordinator, will lead a walk identifying trees around the KCC Riverfront Campus.
The fee is $5. Pre-registration and payment are due by Sept. 11. A registration form is below - and can be printed and returned with payment to: University of Illinois Extension, 1650 Commerce Drive, Bourbonnais IL 60914. Registration and information is also available by phone at 815-933-8337.
