Leadership and Management courses

The Continuing Education Department at Kankakee Community College is offering a series of courses focused on leadership.
The Leadership & Management Institute courses are one day each, once a month. Each course meets from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in KCC Room D124. Courses are:
- “Your Leadership Journey,” Wednesday, Feb 20. Focusing on the transition new leaders face, participants will learn three differentiators to build a positive reputation and contribute to the organization’s success. Course number is LEAD 9020.A16, and cost is $150, including the book.
- “Communicating for Leadership Success,” Wednesday, March 20. The main topic will be “Interaction Essentials” to be effective in daily situations. Coaching, delegating and driving change will be discussed. Course number is LEAD 9030.A16, and cost is $150, including the book.
- “Delegating with Purpose,” Wednesday, April 17. In a “do more with less” business environment, this class shares how to build and utilize delegation skills. Course number is LEAD 9004.A16, and cost is $150, including the book.
- “Coaching for Peak Performance,” Wednesday, May 15. Learn about both proactive and reactive coaching discussions. Course number is LEAD 9005.A11, and cost is $150, including the book.
