Phi Theta Kappa Induction Ceremony

Twenty-nine Kankakee Community College students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in September 2026.

KCC students who recently joined are:

  • Bourbonnais: Savannah Fabsits, Livia Lamie, Joseph Roiger, Aysia Whitman, Mia Whitman and Lysette Williams.
  • Bradley: Aubrianna Updegraff.
  • Brimfield: Ava Simpson.
  • Chicago: Jasmine Thurmond.
  • Clifton: Lexi Willms.
  • Essex: Krystina Morman.
  • Grant Park: Seth Dobin.
  • Gurnee: Alan Arguelles.
  • Kankakee: Ryan Graf, Brooke King, Jillian Laird, Stephen Mercer, Kathryn Mullins, Ella Nitschke-Wern and Jessica Stano.
  • Manteno: Madison Anderson, Kaylee Boudreau, Keeley Mazurkiewicz and Angelina Urban.
  • Momence: Justin Shafer and Cassidy Thompson.
  • Park Forest: Candice Jolivette.
  • Watseka: Dorothy Harms and Noelle Schroeder.

KCC holds induction ceremonies for new Phi Theta Kappa members each fall and spring semester. This fall’s event was Sept. 18.

To be eligible for membership, students must have a 3.5 grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale after completing a minimum of 12 semesters hours of KCC coursework.
