2026–27 Monetary Award Program (MAP).

Due to funding limitations, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will suspend MAP award announcements for applications received after April 23, 2026. Students who submit a FAFSA or Alternative Application after this date will be placed on a waiting list for MAP funding. If additional funds become available, awards will be offered in the order applications were received.

Students are strongly encouraged to complete a FAFSA or Alternative Application as soon as possible. While MAP funding may be limited, eligible students may still qualify for federal Pell Grants and other state, institutional, or scholarship opportunities.

KCC’s Financial Aid Office is available to assist with completing the FAFSA or Alternative Application between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and is located on the 2nd floor in Student Affairs.
