Courses for the love of learning

Kankakee Community College will continue its celebration of 10 years of Lifelong Learning Institute programming at the fall kick-off and information session, 10 a.m. - noon Thursday, Aug. 28 in the KCC Iroquois Room.
The special guest speaker Aug. 28 will be Dana Arseneau from Riverside Healthcare, presenting “Staying Safe as We Age: Why Injuries Happen & How to Prevent Them.”
Registration and course information will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
The Lifelong Learning Institute at KCC offers affordable, high-quality, non-credit classes to people ages 50 and older. Sessions take place in an environment that fosters participation.
Classes focus on different intellectual and cultural topics and vary from a single session of a few hours to several meetings. In-person and live webinar options are offered, and prices vary. For Fall 2025, there are 16 free class options, and many others for $25 or less.
