Healing and Healthy Living non-credit classes

The Continuing Education Department at Kankakee Community College is offering courses on vibrational healing and healthy living.

“Energy Anatomy and Vibrational Healing” will explore the anatomy of the energy bodies and currents, plus provide tools for balancing the electromagnetic field. There will be discussion of emotional, mental, and spiritual causes of disease. There will be presentations of healing using in a variety of mediums, including chakra system, healing with sound and color, homeopathy and more. The seminar meets Wednesday, Oct. 10 form 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at KCC in Room D123. Instructor is Candice Chaffee. Course no.: HLTH 382A.A13; cost is $79.

Respiratory care technicians, nurses, and nursing home administrators can earn 6.5 contact hours upon successful completion.

Another seminar, “Reclaim Your Health through Nutrition and Healthy Living,” shares many simple steps that can be taken to improve health, energy, and quality of life. This course will de-mystify vitamins, minerals, popular supplements and herbs, super foods that heal, what to eat, and what not to eat. Topics include how to make a kitchen crop, improve digestion, and be nourished. The session meets Thursday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at KCC in Room D123. Instructor is Candice Chaffee. Course no.: HLTH 3477A.A13; cost is $79.
