Kankakee Community College’s Harold and Jean Miner South Extension Center in Watseka is offering Microsoft Office Suite Certification training.

The certificate has five classes, eight weeks each, and can be completed in three semesters. Microsoft Word and PowerPoint will be offered this fall, Access and Excel will be offered in Spring 2019, and Office Suite Integration will conclude the certificate in the summer of 2019.

Upon completion, students may satisfy requirements for a position in the business microcomputer application field. Students can also apply coursework toward the Advanced Certificate in Office Assistant and the Office Professional Associate Degree. Financial Aid may be available.

The Microsoft Word (COSC 1352) and PowerPoint (COSC 1341) courses start Oct. 15. Registration must be completed before Sept. 7 to be eligible for financial aid.
